Summary
Terry Goodkind's bestselling, epic fantasy series Sword of Truth continues with Confessor.

Descending into darkness, about to be overwhelmed by evil, those people still free are powerless to stop the coming dawn of a savage new world, while Richard faces the guilt of knowing that he must let it happen. Alone, he must bear the weight of a sin he dare not confess to the one person he loves…and has lost.

Join Richard and Kahlan in the concluding novel of one of the most remarkable and memorable journeys ever written. It started with one rule, and will end with the rule of all rules, the rule unwritten, the rule unspoken since the dawn of history.

When next the sun rises, the world will be forever changed.

Dont base your opinion on the reviews before this...... YES it repeats a lot of information laid out previously! but as a first time listener it still has the ability to twist what you thought was coming!!!!!!!!

As mentioned in other reviews there is a lot of repetition in this book, I have come to expect this in what is a large series with many characters to keep track of. This was not the best book in the series but I very much enjoyed it all the same. In my opinion, it rounded the series off nicely. The narrator was excellnt.

The repetition is back, but here we are at the end. At some parts, it feels like the story is running break neck to the end while at others, it feels like we will get there when we get there. That happens in life, but in this story, it can give the listener whiplash. That can harm any listener. You could skip it knowing everything works out, sure, but HOW things work out actually is fun. Sadly, this story never hits the heights that Faith of the Fallen soared to, and that is the part that kind of hurts the most. You hoped it would, but it never does. For those looking for deeper magic, there are other books with magic and sword that go the distance. As always, the narrator did the best with what they were given.

I loved the ending of the book series! It was a bit repetitive, but not to much like other reviewers have said. It had a couple of interesting surprises in there. Even though you could guess how it was going to end, there was definitively still tension in the story and it had some heart-warming elements in there to. Would definitely like to read the entire series a second time in the future.
