Circle of Darkness

I seriously need someone to explain to me why anyone likes Joel Leslie as a narrator. Am I missing something? Is there something beyond the smoky-voiced, dumb tik tok dude routine or do I actually live in a world where people find that appealing?

Love the story, I'm hoping to listen to the 2nd book. I do love the narrator, but when I finished listening to a book he narrated then listened to this book in the same day...Angel's voice reminds me of Snow.

Have you ever listened to a book where you hated the story but loved the narrator? Circle of Darkness by Nicholas Bella and Aimee Nicole Walker is not the book I want to listen to, even narrated by the amazing Joel Leslie. Kumar D’Angelo, the first MC, is insufferable, whilst Angel Bai, the second MC, is sweet, generous and so courageous that he fights tooth and nail to save that arrogant’s life. He doesn’t deserve to be ill treated by anyone, but especially by this Kumar person for 6 chapters in a row. My heart goes out to Angel and I’m done! I don’t want to know more about this story. Two stars for the book and 5 stars for the narrator.

very very good book

So I have to say this was a great read. I loved the characters greatly but for me the most fun I had was the creation of a world of different creatures. So many paranormal books only focus on one type. Need I really say anything about the narration......I mean its Joel Leslie so of course that was great.
