Unabridged Audiobook
this book was just as good as the other, I think even better. enjoyed the narrator.
I loved this series. After seeing the movie, the book was even better. Without a doubt, I wish that I could see the book version in the theaters. This volume gives us more interaction with side characters and fleshed out new ones, building towards the third installment.
I loved Howl’s Moving Castle so much and was so disappointed in this book. Much of the story really feels problematic: a huge focus on slimness and beauty, characters forcing women to marry them, etc. I don’t think it’s good to excuse it as a product of its time because so many books published before and around this time did not have these issues. I did enjoy all the pieces falling into place at the end of the story, but the main character Abdullah was so one dimensional and obnoxious.
