Excellent audio for a stage production. The story was engaging and the Actors very humorous. What a hoot!

Not all plays work well on CD, but the LA Theaterworks have become very good at capturing its productions on disc. The clarity and nuance of the spoken performances come through as as if read in a soundbooth. Henry and Tom are Ford and Edison, respectively, and Warren Harding is as central a character as tney are. The playwright obviously did a lot of research on their lives and history, and he blends in their achievements, their personality quirks and their achilles heels into the dialogue. It's a provocative, often funny, examination of great men and what drives their ambition--and what drives them crazy. Highly recommended, as is another LA Theaterworks piece, "Proof."
