The story is ok, but not as good as I had hoped.

I completely disagree with the other review for this book - if you like Elmore Leonard and Quirky Southern characters - you will enjoy this. Is this Pat Conroy, no, but for lovers of police/ crime series lovers this is worth your time .... with each book in this series I am having a deeper appreciation for Ace Atkins and his storytelling .
