Interesting series so far

The Cork O’Conner mysteries are as entertaining as they are educational! I appreciate the cultural insight presented throughout these page-turning books. Once I start, I simply can’t put them down!

This book was good. I got it as part of the book club. It isn't a book that was gripping and intense but a good read.

love the imagery of the wilderness, narrator is great to listen to, book has amazing twists

A fine mystery indeed

One of the best books we've heard in a long time. I particularly liked the way the author painted the pictures of the lakes and surrounding areas. Love the narrator too.

My husband and I are listening to this series on a road trip and we’re both enjoying how the author is developing the characters. The real hero in this book was the boy, Lewis. I don’t think the title is very compelling. I would’ve titled this book ‘Brother of the Wolf’. Love the significance of passing Ojibway stories along to the next generation.

Great narrator.

Great writer, I love his series around iron lake. The narration took me a minute, but think he has stole my heart. Have listened to book 1, 2, purchased three already - just started

Book was a great. Ojibway culture and history is refreshing and new in a book

Cork must trust no one as the forces converge. Krueger brings another exciting and beautifully written adventure to the table. The story has all the twists and surprises expected in a thriller of this caliber. I just love this series.

The book itself was in routine. The narrator was excellent. The minor inflexions toward the different characters made it more enjoyable. All in all I would recommend this book to someone else.

Excellent story. loved the characters . Narrator pulled off each character really well. Krueger is a great author, can't wait to listen to more of his books. Rich vocabulary and i hung on every sentence.
