Unabridged Audiobook
I am really disliking this book. I'm a 1/3rd of the way into it and am struggling to make sense of it. I just cannot get into the rhythm of the story. It could be me, but I'm a reader who enjoys classics like Jane Austin and Conan-Doyle, and if can make sense of their work I should be able to make sense of a contemporary author.
This is an excellent series and excellent writing. I have gone through it twice and enjoyed it immeasurably. I have no interest in the South, but loved the family and life of the Deborah Knott. The author drew me in and I was hooked. Margaret Maron is one of the best writers out there and her mysteries are pretty intricate. CJ Critt does a wonderful job with the narration too.
Loved this book, kept me interested the entire read and I was surprised at the ending!
