Unabridged Audiobook
I love this book. Don't expect it to be like Anne of Green Gables, exactly--the main character is also a outlier but with more bitterness and rebellion, I would say. Not that she's not a sympathetic character and her rebellion is both well-deserved and hilarious at times. This is really a love story of a pheonix rising from the ashes of a deadening family and finding her "Blue Castle". The narration was okay but I found the narrator's voice to be rather strident in the beginning. As the story progressed, her voice mellowed and I had an easier time listening to it.
