Summary
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts presents the second novel of her In the Garden trilogy, as three women must discover the secrets from the past contained within their historic home.…A Harper has always lived at Harper House, the centuries-old mansion just outside of Memphis. And for as long as anyone alive remembers, the ghostly Harper Bride has walked the halls, singing lullabies at night.…At forty-seven, Rosalind Harper is a woman whose experiences have made her strong enough to bend without breaking—and to weather any storm. A widow with three grown sons, she survived a disastrous second marriage and built her In the Garden nursery from the ground up. Through the years, In the Garden has become more than just a thriving business—it is a symbol of hope and independence to Roz, and to the two women she shares it with. Newlywed Stella and new mother Hayley are the sisters of her heart, and together, the three of them are the future of In the Garden.Hired to investigate Roz’s Harper ancestors, Dr. Mitchell Carnegie finds himself just as intrigued by Roz herself. And as they begin to resurrect old secrets, Roz is shocked to find herself falling for the fascinating genealogist—even when he learns more about her than anyone has before.…

Blue dahlia was every woman I was and wanted to be so I cannot wait to read the black rose ALSO, the key trilogy was magnificent and I usually shy from FANTASY BUT THE TRILOGY WAS ANOTHER ENSEMBLE OF STRONG WOMAN FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE AND A FEW HUNKS OOOH

I haven't listened to the book but I have read it at least 5 times. It is a wonderful book about love and family, loyalty and strength. As well as some suspense. I highly recommend the series.

This was one of the best Nora Roberts Books I had ever read. It was so suspenseful to the point that I have listened to it a number of times before I reluctently sent it back. This whole series has capitivated me I am anxiously waiting to listen to the Red Lily. I have really enjoyed this series. I would like to see a 4th book in this series to pull all 3 books together.

great story, but if you want to avoid bedroom scenes, this is one to avoid. I had to skip forward three times. I loved the ghost, but felt that the writer could have had more about the ghost.

This was a nice story but did not capture me. I enjoyed it, but there are many other books that are better.

True to Nora Roberts' form this is an excellent book. This one has even more 'ghostly' encounters and becomes more interactive with the 'spirit world' than it's predecessor. It is truly a great listen that I would recommend to anyone who likes Nora Roberts.

I love Nora Roberts whether she is writing love stories or mysteries. This book was great. I listened to Blue Dallia a while ago. Did it start the same way? I thought I was listening to something I had already listened to and almost sent it back. A truly fun read.

This book was great, never wanted it to end. The suspense, and the way each of her characters were portrayed was excellent.

I was sorry to see this book end. Nice pacing and just enough surprises. I suppose it might be judged in the same category as a "chick flit" but hey, why not? Our heroine a great role model.

It kept my interest, I love the way she makes the female charactors so interesting and strong. For lighter reading and entertainment she does a great job. I loved the setting of the garden and plants as its one of my passions. I will read more of her books.

I accidentally started the trilogy with this book. Wow!! I loved Roz...and how very entertaining. Had to wait a long time to get the sequel, Red Lily, but loved it and the Blue Dahlia just as much. Nora Roberts is a jewel and I hated that the characters/story came to an end. Loved every single character that Nora created in each book. Surprisingly enough my husband enjoyed this series as well. The reader was outstanding.

This was a very entertaining book. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters. After I finished the book, I was surprised to find myself missing them.

I disliked the first disc so much, I repackaged it and sent it back in. The author/character was so obsessed with gardening that I was annoyed beyond measure. I did not like the narrator's voice and acting either. I could not go on with the story. I tried, but could not.

As always Nora Roberts keeps her readers glued to the pages, at least she does this reader anyway. The characters are believable and the plot is intriguing. I can't wait for the sequel.

What a wonderfully written book by Nora Roberts! I could hardly wait to send it off in order to get the other half. If you enjoy good humor, great plots, and being totally enveloped in the characters of a story, then this is a definate must!

Great book. I love Nora Robert's novels. I wish the book would have gone into further detail at the end. My only problem was trying to keep the reader's voice distinctive between the characters.

I absolutely loved this book!!! It was great! Nora Roberts is a wonderful writer!!! She can tell a story that totally gets the reader (or listener) very engrossed...you feel like you are there with the characters in the book. I love that she does most of her books in a series as well, it feels like you know all of the characters........kind of like family.
