I kept listening,...hoping for a meaningful improvement in the story. Ultimately, it seemed the author was trying to teach us a great truth to not cheat on your wife and see the Russians as evil. There is NO happy ending in this story. Not worth the listen.

First third of the novel works. Last two thirds builds anticipation but ultimately leads to terrible resolution. Very disappointing.

Don’t waste your time!! Got to far in hoping it would improve. Hero is an idiot and totally unsympathetic character. Implausible story line.

Give the book time it’s story does get very interesting. The narrator is a 10 out of 10 pretty much the only reason why i hung in there with this book!
