I loved her voice, her thoughts and her courage! She actually helped me realize my big magic!

I´m reading at the same time that I hear the book, and it´s awsome. I love her voice, intonation and the way she reads the book in general. I like very much the way she writes. Her apporach to creativity it´s very innovator for me and opens a lot of good possibilities. I feel like I need to read the book again, and keep it as a bedside book.

I love Liz Gilbert. This was a beautiful book loaded with inspiration and reality checks. A must-read for any creative.

Liz has a way of translating very abstract topics into comprehensible, beautiful and very relatable anecdotes that never fail to inspire me. Her poetic yet very down-to-earth approach to everything and her relentless optimism is so admirable. This book is absolutely no exception. Anyone who struggles with creativity should definitely hear what Liz has to say about that.

I am not a “creative” person. I have a boring job with boring predictability. But reading this book made me realise that it was me that chose that path, I ignored all of my creative instincts and chose something safe to pay the bills. However, on reading this book I now feel inspired and motivated to re-visit the creativity that I undervalued and ignored as a young adult. Even if it’s absolute garbage, it’s for me, not for anyone else. This book may have just changed my life. And listening to it read by the author was a lovely treat, too often books are read by other people but hearing it in the authors voice gives it life. Thank you.

I really enjoyed this book. I especially enjoyed having it read to me by Gilbert herself. I took it in small doses because I wanted to absorb each dose of insight before moving on to the next. I found myself inspired and motivated after each listen. I even felt shifts in my own creative endeavors thanks to what was shared. This will be a regular go to for me when I'm looking for inspiration to keep engaging in a creative life.

Loved this book! I enjoyed hearing Elizabeth narrating her own book. Very inspiring and so creatively written. Also love her sense of humor and wit.

Ha! Am I a middle aged woman??? I loved this book. Very inspiring. I just started it again. :)I am an artist and a musician and have been struggling with some creative blocks. My upbringing really tried to force into me the idea that if you weren't going to make money at something, then it wasn't worth doing and I have fought against those voices my whole life. I do believe that the most successful people are the ones who are doing what they love to do, not what they think will make them money. I think u do have to be true to yourself to tap into creative genius. Fear of failure is the kryptonite to creativity.

I was very disappointed with this book. It seemed to me that it was written directly to Middle Aged women and as a 24 year old male I regret using my one monthly credit on this book.

Awesome book ... so many helpful tips to help guide you to your creative side. It provided a new approach in viewing how to handle your creativeness, building and completing ... in see a finished product.

This book was so beautiful, I didn't want it to end. I could listen to Elizabeth Gilbert's voice all day anyway. This book provided a lot of startling revelations about how the way we approach creativity in adulthood is so far skewed from how we did as wide-eyed unjaded kids...

I love this book, it speaks to the heart of a free spirit. The words dance like a flowing fast paced stream in to the world of creativity, inspires, while giving drive to paint the world in bright colors.
