Unabridged Audiobook
I thoroughly enjoyed this title. I learned so much regarding to the tenants of Islam and how it could be read and interpreted by its followers. The author applies no biases and personal opinions (except 1 part where he almost inadvertently says, "and correctly so...") This is the only time where I felt the author showed his personal opinion. I loved this aspect of the book. Knowledge is offered, the opinions are left up to the reader.
This was an interesting book to listen to as it explains not only of the Qur'an but how Islam came to be. Narrator always remind you to remember a few points that he will bring back at a later topic for discussion
Insightful and informative-like taking a graduate class with a great professor. If this were the case (rather than an audiobook) I’d take every one of his classes. Nevertheless, thoroughly enjoyed. If the topic at all interests you, you’ll love it.
Not to my liking.
