Without her, their case will collapse but, amid reports that the staff are as unpredictable as their patients, who can the police trust?

In desperation, they turn to an outsider and now Gregory must find the courage to step inside the fortified walls of Buchanan Hospital to uncover the truth. The question is, will he ever be the same again?

This is another great one in this series!! My hero, Dr. Gregory was more vulnerable and introspective this time. I want him to find and accept love so much! He's brilliant and handsome and such an interesting character. I love how the author describes each scene. I can just picture everything she writes about. The mystique of each story in the Alexander Gregory series has been fascinating and exciting! I also love how there is always a powerful and intelligent women figure in each story in the series from the police captain to the head of the FBI in this one. The narrator did great. To go from male to female, American English to British accent was on point. My only complaint is that Prof Bill Douglas sounded Irish instead of his rooted British decent. Otherwise, FANTASTIC book....finished in 3 days!!

Why has Bill Douglas suddenly changed his accent from that of previous books? Very distracting/annoying. Would have been much better to have the same narrator for the complete series of books.

I liked it, but the story felt rushed and too many maffia cliches. Perhaps the story had been better with only one or two povs. I liked the narrator, especially when he announces a new chapter he sounded at tired at the end as the main character was in the story.
