Awakening The Goddess Within

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Agapi Stassinopoulos grew up surrounded by the stories and statues of ancient gods and goddesses. But it wasn't until she went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and started performing in plays that she discovered the goddesses in a personal, everyday way.
In this enlightening presentation hosted by Dr. Deepak Chopra, Stassinopoulos describes how her early theater experience led to a mission of 'bringing the goddesses down from Mt. Olympus' to enrich the lives of modern women. Through a series of original poems, dramatic readings, and awe-inspiring monologues from plays, movies, and her most recent book, Conversations with the Goddesses, she introduces a series of characters (such as Joan of Arc and Athena) who embody the archetypal personalities of the classic goddesses.
