Summary
This is the first book in the Pellucidar series. Pellucidar is a fictional Hollow Earth milieu invented by Edgar Rice Burroughs for a series of action adventure stories. The stories initially involve the adventures of mining heir David Innes and his inventor friend Abner Perry after they use an "iron mole" to burrow 500 miles into the earth's crust. A few of the narrators were great. A few, not so great. But overall, it wasn't bad. Really good book.

My first Edgar Rice Burroughs book (that I can remember). I really liked it. Very interesting not at all boring - as I thought it would be. I’ll be listening to more! Thank you

I can definitely recommend this writer , his books are interesting and imaginative . Edgar Rice Burroughs has the skill to keep the reader entertained through out the ages.
