Unabridged Audiobook
Another good read from Baileigh Higgins. Although a zombie apocalypse book, the focus is more on the struggle of ordinary people clinging on to their decency when confronted by other people who have totally lost any decency that they had. What people become when they lose their social veneer is a sobering thought made all the more sad when you realize that this is a fairly accurate depiction of the worst that people can be. An excellent read which kept me in suspense right up to the last sentence!
Excellent as usual from Baileigh
Listened to the audio on Audiobooks.com with narration by Kristin James. Narrator does a great job. She changes her voice for the different characters, so that’s fun. It’s also a quality recording, so definitely recommend listening. Entertaining story during a zombie apocalypse. I’d recommend reading the previous books in this series before this one. The main issue in this book is the horrible people causing problems with some zombie action in between. In this part of the story, Amy and Tara have been kidnapped by some bad guys, and Alex got shot. Dylan and the rest of the good guy crew are in a scramble to save them; plus, there’s other moles causing problems for them too. Amy steps up and shows how strong she is. Dylan wasn’t handling things well, and she didn’t exactly show her best side. Like getting POV’s from multiple characters, and getting the different storylines. An enjoyable read, but it doesn’t get a 5 star because it’s not a full story. Cliffhanger ending too. Still an entertaining series though, and of course, I love the zombies!
