The main characters in this series are very likeable and I am enjoying following their continuing journey through a post-apocalyptic world. This book looks deeper into the actions and reactions of people when their social veneer is stripped away by a cataclysmic event. For some though, human decency is torn apart, not by the catastrophe itself but rather by the actions of people who no longer have any constraint on their behaviour. The main characters are sometimes shocked at the things they are forced to do if they want to survive. They make mistakes and I find myself telling them not to do certain things as it is bound to end in trouble! Hopefully though, they will all survive and make their way into the next book! Another very enjoyable read. Highly recommended.

The continuation of a great series.
