At last, one brilliant narrator! Karen is marvellous. I literally had to skip chapters in the previous books. Thank you for not ruining this one Libvibox .

A lovely story! I enjoy this author quite a bit and glad she wrote more about Anne. I don't care for having multiple readers at all. Some were good and some were terrible.

Though not as funny or exciting as Anne's early life, she is growing up and facing some adult responsibilities. She and some friends rent a house for their last couple years in college, and they have a good time while studying hard. Beaus come and go--with some surprises. I also liked Karen Savage's narration--she gave different voices to characters w/o being over-dramatic.

Beautifully read by Karen savage. She is clear, and easy to understand, with good intonation and pace. I love that it's read by the same author all the way through. The story is nice, a happy little story following Anne on from the last book. An enjoyable listen for my bedbound life.

Nice gentle story. Easy to listen to.

Apart from Lucy Berloine who has a monotone voice and makes such a wonderful story appear dull and boring, it is otherwise a well narrated story telling the continuation of Anne’s life.

Love this narrator! She should read the first two Anne books.

Three years of Anne’s living life and growing in experience. Rather than boarding houses, she and 3 friends find a little house to rent together. They have wonderful times together, as well as times which were full of all kinds of emotions that tear at the heart. Anne, with all her dreams and plans finds that life more often is a great deal more prosaic...especially when it comes to proposals of marriage. She also sees more of the dark side of life as she notes the gaps, the losses, in the village when she visits home. Overall, she enjoys the university life, aims high with her studies and finds joy in the times she can spend in Avonlea. She always seems to be the one that can guide and influence friends (and especially Davey) for good; even when she really needs to have someone do something similar for her, the reader’s emotions being almost as up and down as hers are! When it comes to her friendship with Gilbert Blythe, Do you want to shake some sense into her? Or into LM Montgomery, the author? But that dilemma sure keeps your attention and drives you not to put the book down! The reader was good for the book.

This is a fun book. I've enjoyed the Anne Shirley books. I wish that it wasn't interrupted by the advertising but I guess that's the way it goes.

The book was interesting but kinda slow to start unlike the original Anne of green gables. but it was still entertaining and I was glad to find out it was a secual to the first book!
