Unabridged Audiobook
The narrator was good. It was the story it self that lacked any intrigue for me. There was hours and hours of unnecessary detail that had nothing to do with the plot. This book had such potential but it dragged on and on and on I almost quit listening numerous times. If the book had been 4-5 hours shorter the plot would have been stronger and more intense.
I really enjoyed this! Dan Stevens (Legion, Downton Abbey) is an excellent narrator. I even liked the literary allusions because it made sense for the self-important characters to be hung up on Freud and Medea, and wasn't just the author showing off.
