Summary
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts explores the wilds of the Grand Tetons—and the mysteries of love, murder, and madness—in this engrossing and passionate novel.

The sole survivor of a brutal crime back East, Reece Gilmore settles in Angel’s Fall, Wyoming—temporarily, at least—and takes a job at a local diner. One day, while hiking in the mountains, she peers through her binoculars and sees a couple arguing on the bank of the churning Snake River. And suddenly, the man is on top of the woman, his hands around her throat...

By the time Reece reaches a gruff loner named Brody farther down the trail, the pair is gone. And when authorities comb the area where she saw the attack, they find no trace that anyone was even there.

No one in Angel’s Fall seems to believe Reece—except Brody, despite his seeming impatience and desire to keep her at arm’s length. When a series of menacing events makes it clear that someone wants her out of the way, Reece must put her trust in Brody—and herself—to find out if there is a killer in Angel’s Fall, before it’s too late.

An excellent plot, believable characters and lots of pace, make this an exciting novel ... even if the ending is inevitable! I thoroughly enjoyed it

This was my first Nora Roberts novel and, unfortunately, my last. I was hoping it would be a good mystery with possibly a little bit of romance. But it ended up being a little bit of mystery with a whole lot of steamy romance. Not really my cup of tea.

I had never listened to, nor read a book by this author. This book was well written and told. I would drive slower on my commute so I could listen to more of the book.

Angels Fall was a wonderful story. It had enough twists and turns to keep my interest all the way through even though it had a predictable happy ending. The narrator was very good and adept at the various characterizations. It kept me very entertained during my commute in LA traffic.

This was actually a pretty good book. Not too many characters so it isn't too hard to listen to. And it is a cute romance, that isn't too explicit like how some romances can be.

I hate to be a contrarian after all of the good reviews this book got but if there ever was a book that needs to be abridged it was this one. My wife and I began listening to this book on a long trip and after 6 CDs we could not take it any longer. We didn't listen to the whole thing because we got so tired of listening to all of the petty details of this story that we found we really didn't care if she ever witnessed this murder or not.

This being my first Nora Roberts book I cannot compare to any others. I will say though terrific read and narrator. If you like heart stories, intrigue, and suspense read this.

Great Book! Who doesn't like Nora Roberts? Once again she does a great job with the mystery and an ending with a twist. Kinda long, but worth the long road to the end!

ANOTHER WONDERFUL BOOK BY NORA ROBERTS. JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I HAD IT FIGURED OUT SHE GAVE ME SOMETHING ELSE TO THINK ABOUT. IT KEPT ME GOING UNTIL THE VERY END.

I was so caught up in this story that I carted it in and out of the house so that I could continue to listen to the story and not have to wait until I was in my car again. The characters were well developed and the storyline kept me guessing right up until the end. This is one story that was well worth listening to in the unabridged version.

A bit slow to begin but picks up. Enjoyed this book, but the main character was a bit too wimpy!!

This was a good book and well read, however, I did feel as if the main female character was a bit weak and over the top at times. I would recommend this book.

This book was very interesting. It kept my interest to the very last "page". A real mystery Norma Roberts way. No gorey discriptions, if that's what you don't like. I would recommend this one to anyone. My husband like it too.
