Perfect audiobook driving the long hours across the Sonoran desert. The history of the Mexican war and status of Mexican women told by the Senorita was beautifully written and read by Frank Miller. Great story of the American cowboy, what it was to be an American man.

very pretty writing. sometimes hard to follow

Not much to say, but wow. Mccarthy was the best. This is another touching novel, loaded with his unique prose, and an absolute must read.

I liked this story

Beautiful, deep story that showed the lives of many different people and perspectives. The narrator I thought didn’t do it justice as he said everything with no emotion despite the circumstances.

This is a really great read. The language, descriptions and actions are so natural for the depression era time period. I highly recommend this book.

The narrator was great. Depiction of different characters and the differing environments really good.

This book made me see the beauty in horses. I could almost smell them. I look at horses differently now.

Great book. The narrator spoke too low and even with the volume all the way up I had a hard time hearing or understanding what he said most of the book.
