Legendary leadership and elite performance expert Robin Sharma introduced The 5am Club concept over twenty years ago, based on a revolutionary morning routine that has helped his clients maximize their productivity, activate their best health and bulletproof their serenity in this age of overwhelming complexity.

Now, in this life-changing guide, handcrafted by the author over a rigorous four-year period, you will discover the early-rising habit that has helped so many accomplish epic results while upgrading their happiness, helpfulness and feelings of aliveness.

Through an enchanting—and often amusing—story about two struggling strangers who meet an eccentric tycoon who becomes their secret mentor, The 5am Club will walk you through:

- How great geniuses, business titans and the world’s wisest people start their mornings to produce astonishing achievements
- A little-known formula you can use instantly to wake up early feeling inspired, focused and flooded with a fiery drive to get the most out of each day
- A step-by-step method to protect the quietest hours of daybreak so you have time for exercise, self-renewal and personal growth
- A neuroscience-based practice proven to help make it easy to rise while most people are sleeping, giving you precious time for yourself to think, express your creativity and begin the day peacefully instead of being rushed
- “Insider-only” tactics to defend your gifts, talents and dreams against digital distraction and trivial diversions so you enjoy fortune, influence and a magnificent impact on the world

Not a good listen if you are looking for concrete examples on how to become more efficient, effective and grow. This was what I learned over hours of listening - wake up at 5am and begin with a “power hour”. 20 minutes dedicated to health, 20 minutes to self-improvement, 20 minutes on spirituality/meditation. That one sentence pretty much sums up the book. Also- the use of inane adjectives became over the top. It seemed as though the author was maybe 10000 words short, so he went in and put adjectives in front of anything he could to meet a word requirement. Sorry to say I did not enjoy this listen.

This book was pretty tough to get through. It came highly recommended so I stayed until the end but the tools could’ve been given in 1 hr of the 11 hrs it took to tell the story. The big reveal was dangled like a carrot for 8 hours and wasn’t as impactful as I’d hoped. There is a TON of fluff that fills the story: fake characters, a relationship that means nothing to the actual point of the 5am club, and more. I found myself out loud saying, “Get to the point!” I’d take real life trial and error stories over these made up characters and the nonsensical fillers any day. My husband and I try to listen to the same books and I told him not to waste his time on this one. Oof! Sorry for the rough review but this one was painful.

The idea is cool, but the story is too discounted and boring... so YES for 5 am club and NO for a book! It would be better to tell some real stories of people who live this way and achieved something!

I did not get anything out of this book. It came recommended to me but it is written like a fiction book. I kept waiting for some application of the characters, but I never found it. There was so much needless fluff about the characters I never found the chapters title to ever be discussed. I travel and love listening to books while on the road, but I did not find any substance to this title.

Terrible book, terrible narration, unbearably long, waste of time.

Did not like the book much. Looks more like a story book. Not what I expected.

I really struggled with this book, purely because there isn’t really enough information to fill 11 hours and the author has clearly done so to earn a quick buck. The principles are good but could be covered by a simple bullet point list (clearly not as profitable). A better version of the book would include real life stories of actual people who have lived successfully by the 5am club tiles.

Nuggets of wisdom are muddied by legitimately bad writing. Sharma's content would make for an outstanding TED Talk but we are left instead with a ridiculous "novel". The narrator's performance only exacerbated the tedious listening experience.

An excellent book. I totally looked forward to every chapter and the narrator was excellent. Putting the 5am club into action certainly improves your mindset, heartset, healthset and soulset and sets you for greatness.

Terrible book. Waste of my time. Never got to the point. Very disappointed. Seems to apply to very rich people. The whole sage of the billionaires and the fancy was ridiculous. I regret choosing this book.
